Founder and Director
Ana Serrano
Dr. Ana Serrano, founder of God’s Heart Ministry, is a domestic violence survivor, psychologist, retired U.S. Army Reserve veteran, and passionate advocate who has spent nearly three decades empowering women and families to safely leave abusive relationships through education, legal awareness, and faith-based support. She is dedicated to helping women understand their rights, build confidence, and create safe, hopeful futures for themselves and their children.

Co-director
Veronica Mendez
Veronica is the founder of Veronica's Goodies, a San Diego-based custom cake company known for sculpted cakes and scratch-made desserts. She also co-founded Aaron & Veronica, where she and her husband help clients achieve emotional healing and balance through energy work and coaching.

Treasurer
Rosario Aranda
Rosario is a keynote speaker, author, and first-generation college graduate who inspires others through her story of resilience and success. She is the author of She Found a Way and serves as Treasurer and Board Member of Las Valientes, supporting survivors of domestic violence.

Secretary
Rosario Jurado
Rosario has proudly served as the volunteer Secretary for Las Valientes, where she supports the organization's mission to empower and help women. She is also a Senior Associate Financial Broker with World Financial Group, educating individuals and families on financial literacy, retirement planning, insurance, and wealth-building solutions through both remote and in-person services.

Board Member
Eduardo Perez, Esq.
Attorney Ed Perez is a California- and Arizona-licensed attorney with a solo practice focused on immigration law, including asylum, removal defense, family petitions, and advocacy for crime victims. A former San Diego County Deputy Sheriff, prosecutor, and media personality, he brings decades of public service and legal experience to his practice.
